I have a plywood board and I was wondering what would be the best way to stick green felt to it?

Inside your mind, corrupting the pathways

PVA, I would imagine.

If you have spare felt and a bit of board (or even the reverse of the board you are using), give it a trial with a small piece.

Goop some out on the board, spread it around with a scraper/brush and then spread the felt over the top. Press down with another board with some books or something heavy on it.

The Blood of your slain foes.

failing that id also go with PVA lol.

and if I were you I would make my Hills and trenches before you felt, that way you dont have to worry about trying to match the hills to the top as they will already be ingrained in the surface.

Get felt large enough to cover the surface and a bit more. Fold over the edges, etc. And staple in place with staple gun (cant hurt to spread wood glue on the top surface either). This will ensure a long lasting, taught, felted table surface.

Im also not a fan of permanant terrain....it leads to stagnation in my experience. Every game i play the table looks completely different. And i like it that way.

Know thy self. Everything follows this.

I would use PVA glue and also tack the edges down.

Spread the glue out and then take care to make sure the felt goes down without any wrinkles. then cover with a heavy weight.

afterwards, staple the edges with heavy duty staples as extra insurance.

I would use a spray adhesive, you can find them Here

They work wonders, they use spray adhesive to re-felt pool tables. Works wonders.

You can get SELF-ADHESIVE green felt for far less than the GW mat (as nice as it is) - it would still need to be tacked down with staples or something though.

Ok, thanks for all the replies my battle brothers. I shall PVA and staple it. I'm thinking of also making the other side grey in the near future so that I can have an urban tabletop too when I flip it.
