I was wondering if anyone knew of a mini that would closely represent the necromancer from this piece of art work? Not identical per-se but jsut one that captures the 'essence' of the character. Most necromancers tend to be either goth chicks or the slut vampire kind. I'm looking for the 'I like corpses' kind!

You might want to have this moved, or post in the painting/modeling forum. More traffic and more people are familiar with multiple miniatures companies.

Off hand I was reminded of the Ad&d Planescape setting, and I know they made some metal miniatures of tieflings, which your pic reminded me of. With an appropriate paint job, could work.

The Necromancer (sauron) from the Lotr is a creature of pure malice and evil, he does not exist in a 'physical form' like the picture shown there. Personally I would say a model along the lines of the picture wouldnt represent him very well but thats my big, fat and ugly opinion. Its your choice though

The Mordhiem range (if GW have left any of it) might be worth a look though.
