Hi, so I'm playing a friendly tourney next saturday at 1250 pts, against 3 other players. We're playing with fixed lists, and the others are fielding Dark Eldars, Grey Knights and Blood Angels.
So here's the list I'm thinking about using:

Warboss w/warbike, PK, cybork body & att. squig

5 Nob Bikers:
1 w/PK, 1 w/big choppa & waaagh banner, 1 w/big choppa & boss pole, 1 w/big choppa,
painboy & 5 cybork bodies

Big mek w/KFF, PK & cybork body

11 Shoota boyz w/big shoota & Nob w/PK & boss pole
in Trukk w/RPJ, & reinforced ram

12 Shoota boyz w/big shoota & Nob w/PK & boss pole
in Trukk w/RPJ, & reinforced ram

12 Shoota boyz w/big shoota & Nob w/PK & boss pole
in Trukk w/RPJ, & reinforced ram

10 Lootas

Total
1240 pts.

Instead of the Lootas I'm considering 2x1 Deffkopta w/buzzsaw & TL rokkits, but can't really decide.
Furthermore I could switch the Nob Bikers to 2 times regular warbikers (and even throw wazdakka in), for more to maneuvre with, however also more kill points (in weaker units).
What do you think?
And does the list look versatile enough to compete against the before mentioned enemies? ( , , )
Also any tactic tips are very welcome (as I'm still a little green )

Solid list.

I would split up the lootas into two lots of 5. I think koptas idea is good but a bit risky at this points level, given Lootas should be enough to deal with 1250pt mech lists.

Given the armies you are against I would maybe try to get even more models on the board as they will struggle to fire off enough shots per turn.

It IS a decent list.

I agree that the deffkoptas are riskier, and are NOT anti-infantry, while lootas still are.

Don't assault GK with bikers. Too expensive. For the price of your biker nobz(340) you'd be better off with 12 warbikes, nob upgrade w/PK, BP. Basically two and a half times more dakka, you want that against GK. A full warbike squadron averages 4.44 MEQ deaths from shooting.

It's good that you've set up your nobz for wound allocation, but if you do, it needs to be a bit different. Right now, after the BC nob goes down, you have to start choosing: PK, +1 WS, morale re-rolls, or FNP. Tough choice. Another reason that I'd swap for 12 Warbikes.

Biker bosses are fun, but expensive. You might do better with a KFF Big Mek, but who knows, with only trukks on the line.

You should probably have at least one BW in there, if not two. The deffrollas really come in handy.
