Elite Tyranid Warrior

Hi all,
I need a new modelling kife for my imperial guard converted tanks and so I know that x-acto is best on the market but what's it like for cutting through thick plastic (such as baneblade armour)?
And can anyone recommend a particular model (if there are different models)?
Thanks.

Depends on the shape of what you are cutting. If it is flat you can usually place a ruler over it, score it a couple time, and then bend it slightly til it snaps clean. If it has complex geometry I would use a jewelers saw.

the glorious thing about xacto knives is that they make a sawblade attackment that really helps for cutting through thick plastic (like tanks) unfortunately those blades only work on the larger handle model, not the standard skinny handle.

Go for the larger handle (#2 or #3) - you can get larger blades to suit them that do the same job as a #11 blade - plus the saw blade attachment fits them.
