I'm gonna get it on release, I'm debating getting Dark Souls also. I liked demon souls but I eventually just put it down out of frustration, so we will see about Dark Souls.

I have a PC that isn't capable of running anything, so I'd have to get it for PS3. Thing is, with God of War Collection, Arkham City and Uncharted 3, I doubt I'll have time.
I'll wait for some reviews to see if it's any good - or maybe a demo if id's feeling generous.

Oh, yeah. I feel your pain all around. Skyrim, Bats and Dark Souls are high on my lists, but I pre-paid for Rage back when it was to come out in Sept. So much video game goodness these next few months. It's almost criminal that all of those games are coming out so close together.

Once I have the cash and I've let it sit on steam for a while for a sale to come a long probably. I'm hoping that the novel left out a good deal of the side quests and non pivital areas though (though it had enough spoilers in it already). ...I may have written a good chunk of the wiki articles...so what do you think? ^^'
I'll wait for the reviews. I like post-apocalyptic stuff, but it'll have to be pretty damn good to tear me away from STALKER and Metro 2033.
There are some who walk until their legs fail them and they fall to the ground. I find that respectable.
Then there are those who drag themselves further. I find that admirable.

Heck, wait a few weeks at least. Portal 2 hit $30 about a week after the release date in certain locations.
I'm sorry to say that while it looks awesome, Rage has not made my list of games to buy this fall. I don't make much money as it is, and I've already got Skyrim, Serious Sam 3, and Assassin's Creed: Revelations lined up for purchase when they hit shelves.
And for all you Steam users out there, remember that Christmas sales are only a few months out, so anything coming out soon will almost certainly drop at least a few bucks by the time December rolls around.

Kal'reia Sept Tau - Farsight Sympathizers Da Great Looted Waaagh! The Court of the Wolf Lords
Not sure if I'll buy it. I'll be renting it first, as I do with all games. If I like it enough, I'll buy it.
But with Skyrim on the way and Dead Island still to purchase it won't be until December, maybe next year!
Wow. Rage is the most visually impressive game I have ever seen on the 360. Unlike F3, there are no areas that look alike or buildings that are the same.
The game its self is fun, but I can see how repetitive it will be. I feel like a dog and told to fetch, a lot.
The AI is great. They don't just stand there and shoot at you waiting to get shot at by you. They hide, blind shoot, peek out from cover and run away. That cracked me up. "I'm outta here!" He got up and ran off. The mutants didn't run around stuff, they climbed over it or hopped over it. To me its the small things that are impressing me.
Over all, I like it and can't wait to see what's next.

Seems for people on the PC with ATI cards, this game may be worth "waiting" a bit for.
Massive graphical issues and crash problems.

picked it up last night, fun so far and the graphics are awesomely awesome. Gonna play through the campaign before trying multiplayer though.
one thing I'm not a fan of though is the driving & racing. The buggies to me are a PITA to control. I know it's the same as tons of other games, but I guess the controls are more sensitive, I'm bouncing all over and crashing into everything, if I try to shoot bandit buggies I somehow end up backwards and stuck behind a rock, then blown to bitz. I think I would have preferred something more like where you can drive if you want to, have bandits to shoot and other things to do, or be lazy and just skip right to your destination.
Just gonna leave this here... I personally haven't heard of the game until now and I haven't considered it. Uncharted 3 is on the wishlist while I rock out on Spore.
