So recently I've come into some extra money after I quit smoking (not spending $20 a week gives you a lot of extra cash!) and I'm wondering what my next purchase for Chaos Space Marines should be. I already have a sizeable army (around 4,500 points worth), and this will probably be my last purchase before starting something new. Here are the options

#1 Chaos Landraider (new) for $55-60, and an unopened metal Abaddon the Despoiler from a friend of mine for $10.
This probably gets me the most bang for my buck. I'm spending about $70 to add almost 500 points to my army.

#2 Greater Daemon, or the Ultraforge Greater Plague Daemon a buddy of mine is selling for $60

I usually run a double Daemon Prince list, backed up by defilers, oblits, and supported by Plague Marines and Zerkers, basically all the chaos good stuff. This makes me thing that the greater daemon would be a better fit, as he works well with my Nurgle princes, but I'm not sure.

Thoughts?

Oops, I'd like to correct myself, I'd be buying the land raider new for $60, and getting the Despoiler for another $10. Sorry for being unclear!

Ultraforge Greater Daemon does let you run 777pts of Scabeithrax out of Imperal Armor Apocalypse since that's technically the official model for him, though. T9/W10 Gargantuan Creature, heavy flamer, counts as an Icon, extra attacks from all the Nurglings infesting his innards...

I'd personally go with option 1 as Abby is a fun thing to toss around in games when the mood is right

The Imperial Armor Nurgle Daemon is awesome, and that's one of the reasons I want that, but generally speaking, I can't use Ultraforge Models in tournament games. Plus he might be a bit too large to use as a greater daemon in normal gameplay, so paying $65 for something I will usually ONLY use in apocalypse games is, while very tempting, not something I can afford to do. I'm leaning towards Abaddon and the Land Raider just because I'll get more use out of them, but I'm still on the fence.

I'd grab the Ultraforge daemon myself. Would probably fit your army thematically more than Yabbadabbadoobadon.

Wait! There's an option 3!

More Obliterators. I have 3, thinking of going up to 6. Less fun and interesting, but probably the most competitive.
