So as with most projects I have been wanting to do this one for quite some time as I was originally inspired by a couple of good articles online, so make sure you check them out to see them for yourself as there is some really good tips and hints below.
Rokkit Buggies from Deffkoptas Deffkopta to Buggy!

So with a free afternoon at my disposa today, it was hobby time and I was keen to get my next project up and running ASAP.

They look great. I like the firing buggy. I hope it will be getting appropriately OSLed

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

I like these a lot - other than the price of spare orky wheels :( but a slightly less cool version could be done with plain wheels with added details.

I don't see why you would waste wheels and deffkoptas for 35 point warbuggies that fire a maximum of 3 shots per turn.

Ummm??? Whats wrong with three twin-linked rokkits on AV10 vehicles that can move flat out? Its an alternative to deffkoptas.

Because they look awesome. Just because they aren't WAAC unit choices doesn't make them bad...

Building stuff like this is fun and helps create an army one has an attachment to. I always find that when I field a model I actually enjoyed building I'm considerably less bothered about winning or losing (and my opponents rarely complain about that!).

I felt the same way. Ordered a bunch of wheels from Ramshackle. Just posted about em:

Lovely conversion. The basic chop-job seems pretty straightforward, but more tutorials are never a bad thing.

At the very least, I'd love to see shots from other angles (the back, especially, looks to have some very tasteful additions that I'd like a closer look at).
