I like the Red Scorpions.

I like them a lot.

So, which Imperial Armour book is their army list in, or are they just marines with special rules.

Thanks in advance.

Just if you haven't taken a look at some of their background apologies if you have just might be helpful
You have Imperial armour 4, 6, 7 and 9, I don't own any but I would say most info would be in 6 and 7. Hopefully someone else can shed more light

On an Express Elevator to Hell!!

Bear in mind the Vraks books (5,6 and 7) are focused upon Death Korps of Krieg fighting renegade IG, so the focus is on those forces rather than the Red Scorpions. The various marine chapters who turn up play bit parts, and get their asses handed to them, before moving aside for another chapter.

Book 6 has a small section on the Red Scorpions. The only difference to a standard setup is that sergeants can be upgraded to an apothecary for +25pts, with the downside that no Red Scorpion units in the game are allowed to scout or infiltrate (the old 'have pride in your colours' rule from the 4th edition codex). If you buy this book just for Red Scorpion info, it will be a bloody expensive price per page!
Book 7 of Vraks features the 'Red Hunters' (what a completely uninspiring name for a featured chapter,
Spoiler:
no wonder they get pwnd so badly
) and Grey Knights, but no Red Scorpions.

Annoyingly book 4 is the only one I don't have, however the Red Scorpions are the featured chapter (including the special character that FW have released, the guy with the mohawk, is it Commander Kuln?) On this basis it is probably the book with the most Red Scorpion info on it, although it is the only one I didn't buy on the grounds I had a quick look through it and the story seemed a bit thin (and the book itself smaller) than the other ones.

They don't have an army list anywhere. They are Codex Space Marines. They also have 2 special characters; Chapter Master Carab Culln and Chief Librarian Sevrin Lolth.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

Yep, what DE said.

Imperial Armor 9 has the two special characters for the Red Scorpions:

Magister Sevrin Loth (Red Scorpions)
Lord High Commander Carab Culln (Red Scorpions)

Imperial Armor 4 also had Cullen when he was just a Commander. His statline was updated for 5th edition and can be cound on the Forge World Free Download page here. This is different from the one in IA:9.
