Ignoring the fact that they are Daemon Primarchs now, Which Traitor Primarchs do you think would have the best chance of returning to serve the Imperium. (let's say that turning back would strip them of their daemon status)

What gain could the Primarchs get if they went back to the imperium? they would loose ALL their daemonic gifts, seems to be a worse deal than staying with chaos

Not to mention that they are not the same men they were before the Daemonhood. Fulgrim is trapped in his own body while the rest lost their minds ( except Magnus, but he is to pissed to go back ).

In a weird 40k fantasy world (you know inside the already existing fantasy). If Magnus and the Emperor had a chat via the warp and somehow reconciled, Big E could strip Magnus of His Demonic "gifts", and he attempted to return. He would have to face a basically brainwashed IoM military to reach the Comotose E and try to get him up and awake. At which point the High Lords would probably kill them both.
It drives me Bananas but I swear in those dark years before the Internet I read in an actual book possibly the BRB that the HLT had a chance to revive Big E and CHOSE not to.

Fulgrim is the only possibility.
The other ones have ten thousand years of atrocities under their belts. Fulgrim does not.
Of course, it would take some kind of potency to expel his daemon, and someone great enough to forgive him. The only being that fits both criteria is semi-comatose on the Golden Throne.

I'm with you on this. Magnus is really the only one I see with a chance to return. His turning to chaos was more a very unfortunate string of events than him wishing to go against the Emperor. He would also be able to sit on the Golden Throne in place of the Emperor once he dies(has his plug pulled).
Fulgrim is weak of will/mind and probably thoroughly insane now.

They are not. Which is one of the many reasons I said it would take someone with Emperor-like authority to annul his litany of transgressions.

Thought for the day: Fear the Emperor or at least fear his Inquisition.

I meant to this thread in General.
You're right, Fulgrim is a pure Daemon Prince. And he also killed the most badass primarch, Ferrus Manus. So yeah, there's 0 chance of him ever coming back.
There's literally only two primarchs that could ever possibly come back to the Imperium, because it is speculated that they are still loyal: Alpharius and Omegon.

Kruze is dead, so impossible
Mort is a bloated plague monster, would probably just die if Nurgle didn't keep him immune to the many plagues running through his system. I'll give him an impossible like Kruze.
Angron...He's off his rocker.
"For The Emperor!" No, wait...That can't be right.
Magnus...Scant possibility. >.0001% chance. 10,000 years of seething hatred for the Emperor doesn't help the possibility for a lovely father-son reunion.
Horus is super dead.
Perterabo eh....He's kind of a sociopath for wiping out everyone on his home world. I don't see why he'd ever want to go back, he was always kinda that guy, the odd man out during his great crusade days. Suppose he's a possible but probably less likely than Magnus as he's got no motivation.
Alpharius/Omegon...Who knows? Really, who knows?
Fulgrim - 10,000 confined to a tiny corner of your mind while a daemon has Slaanesh fueled 'fun' all day, every day? Not good for the soul. Not at all. Assuming he's strong enough to overcome the daemon, which he isn't since he's a wimp with an inferiority complex, he's still got a daemon prince body.......Impossible.

Magnus is the only one I can even conceive ever possibly managing to integrate back to the Imperium.
While he would not be accepted, it would be a small feat for him to disguise his appearance and stature, to re-integrate himself into the Imperium. He's the second most powerful psyker to ever live after all, and his father managed that feat easily, and for millenia.
But ultimately, none would go back, even though Magnus could possibly manage it.

I don't think it was regret for turning,
I think he regrets lowering his ships energy shields, letting the emperor teleport onto the ship...

There is actually some precedent here. Kage got possessed, but a Pariah working for the Inquisition was able to nullify the daemon's powers for long enough for So Fulgrim could be given control of his body back if a potent enough Pariah got near him. Since he has psychic shields which he needed to lower for the daemon to get in, he's conceivably be able to keep control of his body if it was given back to him. Of course, being a six armed snake thing probably wouldn't appeal to him. And his inferiority complex is the Emperor's fault for screwing up his gene seed and killing most of his legion...
Who knows about Alpharius/Omegon? They may or may not be dead, evil or moustache twirling sociopaths, but the Imperium won't be welcoming them back with open arms.

Read the novel. He wanted to let his brother kill him. The daemon blade blocked and killed on it's own.
