Hey guys.

for the "Check Range" rule on page 17.
If half your unit is not in range and half is, does that mean half your unit does not shoot?
Or does it take into play the "Own Unit" rule on page 16.

If any model in a unit can see any model in another unit it may shoot (unless he's fired a heavy weapon, ran, etc) however wounds can be inflicted to any model in the unit, even if you can't see it at all. This represents either a)bullets ricocheting or somebody taking a wound then then someone taking his place.
I see your new but this topic would have done better in 'You Make Da Call' as this section in about new rules not discussing old ones.

Only models that have range to their target can shoot. The rest simply don't.

Universal rule 1:
The dice WILL roll ones on the critical rolls.

Universal rule 2:
If no one is rolled on the critical rolls, the dice are storing them for an even more critical roll.

Universal Rule 3:
NEVER Feel safe. The ones are watching and waiting. Always.

Winhster's right.

Select your target, any of your models at least partially within your gun's range get to shoot.

Essentially, take your Measuring tape, set the zero at the front edge of the closest model in the enemy unit. Extend tape to the range of your gun, swing around in an arc over your shooting unit. Any shooting models bases that at least touch the farthest range of the gun get to shoot. Models in the unit outside the gun's range don't shoot.
