Hokay, so after just recently starting again and signing up to Dakka, I thought I might aswell document the progress of my army and anything else I paint/Model. So, I'll keep this updated with pictures of the Tau armies construction and painting and also with anything else I do. Feedback would be greatly appreciated, to help improve my painting/modelling aswell!

You'll have to forgive the lack of pictures for now, as I need to take some...

So far, I've constructed one unit of Stealth Suits and one unit of Fire warriors and a Crysis suit, 2 Stealth suits are done and nearly all the fire warriors are done. I've experimented with drybrush layering on these models. Basing them with black, then painting the armour with Shadow Grey, drybrushing Space Wolves Grey and finally Skull white to highlight the armour. ( Pics to come soon )

also, as a side project I've got two Imperial guard snipers - Who I'm practising painting camo with.

I apologise now for the quality of the pictures ( When they're up, I've only got my phone to take pictures - 2Megapixels )

EDIT: Sorry for the blurryness - I really have no other way of taking pictures at the moment, think I might have to invest in a camera!

EDIT: After taking a few pictures, I've discovered my phones likes to blur everything that's up close. Will find a work around!

Looks like you have a lot of work ahead of you. Looking good so far(from what I can see). I have found that if you take the picture from far enough back to get it in focus, that you can then crop it with a picture editing program and enlarge it to show the details. Also helps to have lots of light from more than one angle. Good luck with the painting!

Will try that later then, hopefully it'll make the pictures slightly more visible! 'Nother upload to come later, Finished the fire warrior squad and Stealth suit squad - moving onto the Crisis suit and starting to put the Kroot together...

From what I can tell, the Tau look pretty awesome! I like the colors you have!

Thank you, when I get home I'll try out the other guys advice and hopefully it'll make them easier to see...Stoopid phone camera!

As for the colours, It's just the standard Sa'cea sept - which I fell in love with.

Hokey, fiddled with photoshop for a bit and done my best with taking pictures but this is about as good a quality as I can get.
