One thing they definitely should do at the very 1st opportunity is create the army of the immortal dragon emperor and the empire of Cathay. The bits and pieces mentioned in various sources mention tiger headed men, stone dogs, swordsaints monkey warriors and the astromancers that flattened the original ogre homeland with a comet. Then of course there is the the dragon emperor himself.....

I'd reccomend that for a WF book- it seems the sort of thing they'd do (along with Araby, Kislev, Dogs of War...)

And did Cathayan mages really bring down the Great Maw?

I actually doubt GW will ever be inclined to add a new race, seeing they barely can update the current ones but feel free to speculate

For the time being, M4cR1II3n's fanbook isnt bad

It never says for certain that they created the great maw but the comet destroyed the ogre homeland shortly after the dragon emperors astromancers discovered the ogres had developed a taste for cathayan flesh

I retract my previous statement since theres ongoing rumors of some more armies getting into more of a supplement

Although nothing on Cathay I think

They mention the comet might have come from them, but seems unlikely in retrospect since the great maw in the new ogre books has been identified as a real honest godlike creature. Kind of Mork/Gorkish.

But you can still have astromancers, since they obviously mentioned them. The idea they summoned a god doesn't seem likely, however.

Particularly since it burrowed through a planet and empowered a pirate vampire.

I'm half expecting them them to make a Pirate army but I doubt they do a Cathay army.

Wasn't that the guy who decided to make a Cathayan army using the Bretonnian rules and flatten everyone with sheer weight of cheap archers?
