Rats are covered in The Vandalands factions. The first book features Civitas, Vandalands, Aquitar, and Scyzantine; with somewhere in the neighborhood of 25 playable species.

The Brushfire game looks very entertaining, shame that there isn't a European/UK stockiest yet.

The concept for the RPG is interesting mind.

Armies | Space Marines (Void Knights - Own Chapter), Space Wolves & Dark Angels | Imperial Guard Cadian and Kasrikin | Grey Knight/Sisters/Inquisitors | Empire - Hochland | Britanan (Relics) | Mordor & Gondor |

Hello, although I'm a static Zero.

Warning: These miniatures contain lead and should not be chewed or swallowed.

These Miniatures may well be miscast...

Given that Mongoose is based in the UK, there's a smidge of likelihood there will be Continental distibution as well, no?

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money

"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell

Indeed, the RPG will be available anywhere Mongoose products are sold.

Legend (Which Historia Rodentia uses) doesn't use classes, so its very easy to make any sort of character you like.

We're working on solving that pesky European distro issue, keep mentioning to your shops that you'd like to see us, a show of demand will help.

Love the concept.

Too bad you had to use Mongoose.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

The artwork for these is much better than the artwork for some of the miniatures game. If the book is of similar quality, it might be worth picking up.

Also, shouldn't the Pika be a far-east race? I for one would love to play a Chu Pika.

Sardinian Pika were native to the Mediterranean, which Civitas is largely based on. (Along with the south american colonies of those nations).

Heath did several pieces for the miniatures game, and will be doing several more for the RPG. Noah Page and James Kaiser II will also be returning to do art for the RPG.

Beasts of War have an exclusive first look at Scyzantine's races...

It seems all the traffic for people wanting to see Scyzantium's artwork killed Beasts of War!

So here it is on our server:

Shhhhweeeet!

I can't wait to play an anole smuggler and his sand lizard sidekick as they make the Kestral Run in less than a fortnight on the back of their seige tortoise. Things get really fun when they run into a saber-wielding mouse and his crazy capybara mentor in that infamous hive of villany, Vespuccia!

Those are really cool.

Going to check on the availability of these guys here, then might have to get in on some of that action. Still not a fan of Mongoose, do you sell it PDF, yet?

Brushfire (the skirmish game) is available as a PDF at WargameVault and our own website, and has no involvement with Mongoose.

Historia Rodentia (The Roleplaying Game) is not out until May (We're actually still in the process of writing and testing the new mechanics), Mongoose has no involvement other than requesting using Legend, and they are going to be printing and distributing it. It should be available as a PDF shortly after the dead tree edition is put out.

And here is the last batch of species for HR:RPG, The Vandalands

So that's 23 of Brushfire's species playable in the first book.

I will probably buy the miniatures if they're anything like the art.

Mind if I hotlink your pics on my blog? I don't get much traffic
so it's highly unlikely to crash your servers. I mean, it's like 5
visits, 4 of which are bots and 1 of which is me hitting refresh.
