Dakka was just down for a little bit, and when it came back on I couldn't click on my name at the top, it just says "Join Us!" I logged out and back in, still nothing....

I have to go to class now, so I'm not sure if it will be better when I come back...

Could you please let me know your web browser and operating system? There have been some changes there and bugs on some systems are a certainty.

Using Vista Home Premium.

The 'username' was replaced with 'join us' for me too.
Still able to go for 'subscribed threads' and click on my name in the post to get the user profile.
What has changed with the 'headline' ?

Is this on every single page (gallery, articles, forum), or just the forum section?

Could one of you please try clearing cookies and logging in again after that to see if it is resolved?

Just the profile, not posts. Its quite annoying.

As well as clearing cookies, could you try holding down shift and clicking refresh as well please.

Only forum.
Everthing else shows the username....

Tried that, I still get the join us button as well.

Thanks, found the bug and found why I didnt spot it before. Dont worry about doing anything, I'm putting a fix up in the next few minutes.

Oh, and It doesn't happen on the gallery, wiki or the core directory.

But something minor....at the top right of my screen, where the advertisements are supposed to be, it says..."DakkaDakka will be back soon..."

I cleared my cookies but no dice...just something I thought I should let you know...

That's just your cache, it will clear up if you clear your cache or wait a couple of days.
