I wanted to paint my power axes and swords with the blue eletric look like jawaballs and so many others do. warning im a new painter and gamer so please bear with me here.

What I did with mine is drybrush from dark to light (as dry as you can to get the best gradient), then apply sharp highlights that will be the electric bolts (with enchanted blue, but another medium blue will do as well), then highlight those again with something like a mix between skull white and ice blue (or some other blue, something bright). Maybe paint a sliver of pure white here and there to really make it stand out.

Mine's not nearly as cool, but I did a flat coat of Enchanted blue, followed by a wash of Leviathan Purple. Made a bluish-purple "glow" kind of effect.

I liked it.

Why is it that only those who have never fought in a battle are so eager to be in one?

Is one of the better examples i have found for painting with an airbrush, but it should give you some idea for you models.
