I have 1 grand master, 1inquisitor,5 purifiers with a rhino.
If I give my purifiers scout rule, then deploy them in their rhino with the inquisitor, does the rhino have scout rule now?

Can I outflank that rhino with 5 purifiers and 1 inquisitor inside?

Check what the Inquisitor does to the squad. The special rule text will tell you if the squad confers the ability on attached ICs (I think not, but best to check).

If the squad has Scouts and it is deployed with a dedicated transport then the transport picks the rule up as well, allowing you to outflank.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

I've checked the rule book, it does not said that this ability will or will not attached ICs, or whether the whole unit will lost this ability after the IC joined them or not.
That's why I confused.

You choose the ability before units are deployed, so before you attach an IC to the unit. So, no, the Scouts ability will not transfer to the Inquisitor.

If you can keep your head, while all about you are losing their's, then you have probably completely misunderstood the situation!

Thanks.
And that means if I gave 5 purifers scouts rule, then deploy them with a inquisitor in their rhino, then keep them in reserve, and I can't outflank them anymore... right?

Scout has a "*", meaning it is lost if someone in the unit doesnt has the rule. There is no way for the inquisitor to gain the rule, meaning the Purifers lose it as soon as the IC joins.

If you dont join the IC then they could Outflank or Scout in the Rhno, as they have a dedicated transport
