Hello All!

Here are some pics of a converted Chaos Khorne Lord mounted on a Manticore.

I added the chains to the tusks, the skulls on the horns, Khorne symbol to the shield and changed out the helmet for a Khorne Helmet and made the axe for him.

The model was primed black. Various shades of Codex and Fortress grey were used for the manticores skin and wings. Various shades of Shadow Grey was used for the manticores mane. Various shades of Blood Red was used for the Khorne Lord and various shades of orange were used for his highlights.

If you are interested, I am auctioning this model on ebay now. There are more pics of this model from different angles there if you want to see them.

Dman, you're like my new hero! This is probably the best color scheme I've seen on this mini. I really like your use of shadow grey to highlight your blacks. Please keep posting your minis.

I have to tell you, I was excited when I saw the link for a Chaos Lord on a Manticore, cause all I could think is an epic chaos guy standing ontop of one of the Manticore Rockets from IG. But this is nearly as awesome. Great work!

I wanted the Khorne Lord to stand out, as he is the focus of the model. I was hoping the lighter color of the manticore would make this happen.

I thought, I had gone almost too light in the skin coloration. But, it seemed to work out.

I will be putting up pics of my previous works as well as new projects as they are completed.
