Alright, another attempt of mine to try out a small, workable army. Tell me what you think.

Honestly, at 500 points, I think you're better served with 20 boyz than 33 gretchin and runtherds. It could work, and I've actually had gretchen cause a few(gasp) unsaved wounds by sheer numbers, which is how they work, but point for point at a game of 500, I don't think it's a good option.

If your boyz and the lootas can pop any light armor, you'll probably be okay, but the grots won't be taking on any vehicles themselves obviously. 20 boyz even w/o a nob is preferable, IMO.

Hmm....Should I instead split up the boyz to two equal-sized squads? Or should I totally retool this list and go for Mechanized boyz in Trukks?

i would be worried about a lack of anti tank in there..... in 500 points of marines i will put out a razorback and a dakka pred 10 marines and 5 scouts...

it may be a good idea to find the points for another nob w. powerclaw or put some rokit launchers in there

Seems like a big investment...
