Hello, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for a siege dreadnought assault drill, or anywhere that provides good inspiration for one, as I am converting my army heavily, so the normal assault drill arm would be:

a) the left arm when I need a right arm
and
b) too 'common' or in other words, not unique enough for my plans.

If you don't know the rules for it, it is basically a tank/bastion-busting arm with an in-built flamer to purge the units inside
Thanks in advance

You can start with a regular dreadnought CCW. hollow out the center section so you have a nice round hole. Glue a plastic wall anchor (available at any Home Despot/Lowes/ACE/etc)

into the hole so the pointy end sticks out as far as you think looks good. Add the heavy flamer bit as normal to the arm.

As an aside, I made a Siege-noughts flamer arm from a missile arm (backwards), an IG hull heavy flamer bit, a chopped up oil drum from the strandard GW terrain kit, and some greeblies.

Life isn't fair. But wouldn't it be worse if Life were fair, and all of the really terrible things that happen to us were because we deserved them?

Forgeworld makes and assult drill that is really cool looking. Any assult drills are unique since they don't show up that often.

Ork Killa Kans come with a Drill Bit. I'm not sure how it would match up in terms of size, but aesthetics wise it think it would match up nicely.

I agree with Grass4hopper. The Killa Kan drill is great. Also if youre looking for other drilly-bits you might be able to fing the Necromunda drill arm. Its much smaller and may fit better alongside a flamer bit.

Once you get the drill sorted, all you need is the ye olde scuba gear and a little sister

If the Killa Kan drill looks too small, you could have several together forming a 'drill fist'? Or your local hardware store will have a zillion screws, some of which will be the perfect size for whatever you want.

In case it is useful, here is my take on an Ironclad Dreadnought. Materials used are some bits from a plastic pen, greenstuff, and sheets of plastic. In addition I took a screwdiver and some screws to create the seismic hammer and a AOBR terminator torso.

I finally put some paint on it, I consider it ready for gaming.
