Hello All, I recently managed to pick up a bucketload of night goblins for cheap so have decided to get into WHFB. I used to play several editions ago but nothing recently. I have grabbed a rulebook and army book and come up with this 2500 point army using figures I have. Any help steering me in a better direction would be great. Cheers

This leaves 50 points for either more fanatics, or some magic items for my bosses though I'm not sure what direction to take them in. My main concern with this army is that I don't have enough units which pack a punch. I'm also not sure if HW & Shield is worth taking if you lose the extra rank of attacks. Extra models I have are a huge amount of night goblins, spider riders and wolf riders. Any help or advice would be great. Thanks again.

Can't have multiple arcane items, so both your wizards need to lose one.
Banner of Discipline is > Badmoon.
You'll really want that LD9, it really makes a difference.

You really could use more trolls, though swapping trolls for more big bosses works too. 3 more big bosses would give your blocks some good hitting power.

Thanks for pointing out my mistake. That frees up another 50 points to spend on more big bosses. Cheers.

I always get the idea that giants are just not worth it, but thats maybe the problem if youre playing Lizardmen. Just take the huge awesome spider =D

I'd drop the giant for more trolls, or goblin chariots. 6 trolls are a beast of a unit, or 2 units of 2 chariots for impact hit goodness on smaller elite units.

Spider riders would also be good for your army. They can charge war machines, and block charge lanes/redirect.
