If this already exists please just point me in the right direction. I thought it would be neat if we compiled the tricks that each caster has in Warmahordes for achieving victory. I am limited in my WMH knowledge since I have played very little in Mk2 but I know each caster has a specific trick utilized to achieve victory. As we post them up I will compile them here in the main message. This way we have a centralized reference for the way specific casters work. Cygnar pStryker - Knock open an area of line of sight (and KD the caster if you can) with Earthquake, pump shots with the ranged elements of your army through the corridor. A classic. pStryker - Knock open an area of line of sight (and KD the caster if you can) with Earthquake, then run in the thunderhead. pSorscha, Khador: Cast wind rush, move 6", feat cast boundless charge, charge 11" make multiple boosted damage auto hit rolls against the enemy caster at a maximum range of 19", more likely to work if you do not need to boundless charge. Karchev, 5 berserkers, Beast 09. Exploding megadeath to all who oppose you. CRYX General Slam a bonejack into a high value high def target, knock it down, arc spells from the knocked down jacks arc node (Common Deneghra assassination tactic) Throw spider jacks (Leviathan chassis) up the feild they never count as knocked down. Using Deneghra scourge spell from an arc node within 3" of the intended KD victim cant fail to hit as the aoe cant scatter far enough out the way. (Another Denny Assassin move) Over allocate focus on Iron Lich Asphyxious (Chuck all 7 onto jacks) move him towards an enemy unit pop feat > Profit. pDenny: Warwitch Siren power boosts an Arc Node, that runs in position. 1) Feat while within 14" of the enemy caster 2) Arc a Scourge on him (remember to roll some damage there as well) 3) Arc a Parasite on him 4) Activate Dougal MacNaile, [mini]feat, and if within range shoot the caster four times with PS 15 5) Activate Nyss Hunters, and shoot the caster ten more times with PS 15. If you're up against a hard target, consider running in a Bane Thrall between 3) & 4), since the target is knocked down and won't benefit from melee defense. Then proceed to shoot the caster fourteen times with PS 17 instead. Nothing but the real tank casters will ever survive that. Legion of Everblight 1. Upkeep spells. 2. Activate Shredder, go Rabid and run into range/angle for arcing to target enemy warbeast, needs to be within 14" of Vayl. 3. Activate Vayl, Advance up and use Oraculus on shredder, now the shredder can be used to channel. 4. Cast Rampager on target enemy warbeast within 10" of shredder. Advance target warbeast forward and turn him around so back arc is showing, attack enemy models who might be nearby. Do any other casting as necessary. 5. Pop her feat 6. Activate Seraph, Slipstream Scythean forward 2". 7. Charge Rampager target. SPD 6+3"charge+2"reach. 8. Murder it as you are getting back arc to hit bonus etc., helps with Bloodbath chain attack. 9. Activate everything else 10. After everything activates, her feat kicks in and the Scythean is free to full advance back its speed and is immune to freestrikes. So in all, during her feat turn, you can get a ridiculous threat range against one of their beasts. Rampager will full advance their beast. Average beasts spd is 4-6 so call it 5". Scythean threat alone is 13" with slipstream, plus 5" so thats 18" threat. Then yo-yo's him back with her feat. If applied properly, you can drag a major beast out of their lines and murder it, without much retaliation, then get another Alpha strike next turn. It can be really devistating, but not always easy to pull off. Also, her feat has several uses so this is only one, and especially potent against Hordes beasts because of Rampager. Leash adds more to the shenanigans, its good times. eLylyth Run her with dual Ravagores, Deathstalkers, Annyssa and any combination of Striders/Raptors/Bolt-throwers. Run everyone turn one. Turn two move into position, pop feat which grants snipe and extra ranged attack for beasts ignoring ROF. With enough long range strong shooting, there is a very good chance to assassinate turn 2. Most of our range is 12 + 4 = 16" threat plus movement, so for raptors thats 25", striders are 23", Lylyth is 23", Ravagore is 24" (Spd 6, 18" range). Bolt throwers are same as Ravagores, but not AOE scather with continuous fire animus up. You can add an additional 2" threat with a Seraph and slipstream if needed, but usually isn't. Its hard to deny an assassination with so much coming across the board. She has bad matchups against high armor, but vs infintry and/or light armor, its killer. [/color] Gators: 1. Activate Feralgeist, run towards caster--staying within 6" of one Wrastler 2. Activate Wrastler 1, two hand throw Wrastler 2 at rear of Feralgeist for 6 inches, Animus Rise from Wrastler 1 3. Activate Maelok, pop Feat and whatever else you want to do with him 4. Activate Wrastler 2, who is now incorporeal and charge their caster 1. Run two Posse with Maelok 2. Spam Spiny Growth and Death Pact a unit 3. Run up and engage enemy units 4. Revive a Gator if he died (Using the 3" rule with most effect)--Feat with Maelok--and charge your Posse(s) for the caster (Playing against Horde) 1. Run Barnabas w/ Wrongeye and Snapjaw 2. When you feat with Barnabas, move Wrongeye up and Voodoo beasts spirit--which prevents shake off next turn. Def 5 due to Barnabas feat eThagrosh Run at least 10 shredders add other models to taste. Round one run up the field Round 2, pop Thags feat. Make shredders go rabid so now they are SPD 8 with pathfinder. Force to run. Now they move 16" Feat allows an additional 8" movement and then when they get to their target they NOM NOM NOM. Shredder missles are awesome. The Landshark list works but again, its been done a lot and plenty of people can see it coming. There is a similar list with Bethayne and Belphagor, but I don't think it works half as well, but funny enough to mention. Her feat allows the free use of an animus and her tier list encorporates sorcs and flying beasts. So you go with that. Run a bunch of harriers as your forward assault. Get into position and pop feat. Sorcs allow free charges and the feat allows free animus which is AUTO HIT next in melee. So a bunch of harriers charge for free with the first attack autohitting with 2 fury each to boost damage or buy more attacks. Its pretty hilarious, and I plan on trying it out at least once. eNemo + 14 Chargers = Profit epic Caine Gatecrasher: If the enemy caster is within 18.5" of eCaine... Pull extra focus off Squire (7 focus) Reinholdt reloads Caine (3 shots base now). Run a model 10" in front of eCaine (Jr, stormsmith, whatever). eCaine feats and charges that model. After the charge move cast Gatecrasher (4 focus) and go to Melee range of the enemy caster. Start firing. You can get 7 shots if you don't have to boost to hit. There's no point to boosting damage since his damage increments with each hit.

Can only speak from a cyrxian perspextive but....

More pDenny goodness. The setup is basically pDenny, Nyss Hunters, and Dougal MacNaile for added range fun. You can also add in Pistol Wraiths for flavor if you really want to make it a list no opponent will play against more than twice. Everyone knows this one, but it can still be really difficult to deal with in certain lists especially if you haven't see it before:

Run at least 10 shredders add other models to taste.
Round one run up the field
Round 2, pop Thags feat.
Make shredders go rabid so now they are SPD 8 with pathfinder. Force to run. Now they move 16"
Feat allows an additional 8" movement and then when they get to their target they NOM NOM NOM.
