Hi,
Iv played 40k on and off for a few years now and i have decided to start up again but properly this time (going to clubs). I'm Starting with my bro and we are starting with 500pt army's, I was wondering if having a 500pt army if there are any special rules/restrictions? For example iv heard that with 500pt army's you can not have 34 Armour vehicles but im starting Grey Knights and really really really want a Dreadknight =)
I would greatly appreciate any advice =)

Nope, there are no special restrictions on army size at 500pts. You would be fine with a dreadknight anyway because it isn't a vehicle.

The special ruels where armour is not allowed to be higher that 33 (34 and above) are for 40k in 40mins. So your fine with the dreadknight. Welcome to Dakka.

40k in 40mins is a sub rules mainly created for small games to keep them quick and balanced. You would use the rules for smaale games like 400pts if you a pressed for time or something.
