The ruins of the Palace of Thorns

I want to make a few terrain pieces that require trusses to make them properly, but can't find any for sale anywhere. I found a few toy JCB cranes online, and they would make quite cool terrain pieces in their own right, but I can't find any separate toy or model girders. Any ideas, anyone?

Here's a good place to start:

http://www.plastruct.com/Pages/Hobby.html

Actually that site seems pretty crappy. Find a decent model train shop. The last time I was in a train shop I ended up shelling out 300 dollars for plastruct products. It's nice going into a shop because you get a good feel for the scales used.
