It works like Mark of [random] Lvl 1/2/3. Lvl 1 works exactly the same as they current ones. Lvl 2 is only availible to Unit Champions, Lords, Sorcerors, and DP. LVL 3 is for Lords and DP. Certain named characters such as Kharn and Typhus have Lvl 4. Each Lvl incorperates the previous one. So, a Lvl 2 Khorne Lord has +1 attack, and the second Lvl bonus. The only way to get a Lvl 2 is to upgrade a lvl 1, and similar.
Mark of Khorne
Lvl 2
This grants the owner Furious Charge and +1WS, but causes the model Rage. If a upgrade Character is taken, then he may ignore Rage that turn by rolling 4+ at the befginning of its movement phase, but if he fails, then the whole unit gains rage.
Lvl 3
The owner gains +D6 attacks, or +2D6 when wielding a Blood Feeder, but all misses in CC are counted as hits on the unit. The owner and any models in the same unit gain Rage permanently.
Mark of Khorne's Champion/Lvl 4(Kharn the Betrayer only)
Grabnts the same effect as Blood Talons. Each successful wound allows him another attack.
Mark of Nurgle
Lvl 2
Grants FNP to owner, but they lose 1 Int. They have now got poisoned(4+) attacks.
LvL 3
This cause the owner to become Slow and Purposeful, but grants him Poisoned (3+) attacks. Poisoned Weapons now wound him on -1 than normal, so 4+ would become 5+.
Mark of Nurgle's Plaguechild/lvl 4(Typhus only)
The Bearer now has Poisoned 2+ attacks, and is immune to Poisoned Weapons. FNP may be taken even if hit by an AP 1 or 2 weapon, though other restrictions apply. However, due to the corpse-like nature of his body, the move distance of his SNP is halved.
Mark of Tzeentch
Lvl 2
Model may use an additional Psyker power each turn. Models gain +1 to the invulnerable save they had. They, however, msu use a power if possible, and count as being -2Ld while doing it, to represent Tzeentch's fickleness.
LvL 3
Models may use 3 Psychic powers, and gain another +1 to invulnerables. However, they msu reroll their Psychic test if they pass. Note that Perils of the Warp still apply if a double 6 is rolled.
Mark of Tzeentch's Scribe/lvl 4(Arhiman only)
This grants the user 3 powers a Turn, and they can reuse a power if they wish. They also don't reroll invulnerable saves for Perils of ther Warp. However, they will automatically take a Perils of the Warp if they fail their psychic test
Slaanesh
Lvl 2
The owner gains +1 Int and Fleet, but-1 Str, to represent a flurry of light blows as opposed to a powerful one..
Lvl 3
May run 2D6" and fire no weapons, or 1 D6" and 1 weapon. However, they must move in the movement phase and lose Relentless.
Mark of Slaanesh's Painmaster (Lucius and Fabius Bile only)
The bearer gains +2 Int, but must reduce his armour save by 1. They like the pain the lighter armour brings.
Mark of Chaos Undivided lvl 1.
Models with this, and any other models in their unit, may reroll all failed Morale and Pinning Tests.
Lvl 2
The unit gains Stubborn, and +1 Ld. Any friendkly unit within 12" may use their Ld. However, if they would noramlly take a pinning or Morale test, the must take an additional wound(all saves allowed), as they are too stubborn to run or duck and are shot at more.
Lvl 3
The unit gains the And They Shall Know No Fear Special rule, as well as any attached Characters. however, they take twice as many No Retreat! wounds if they lose a combat.
Mark of Chaos Ascendent.
The model equiped with this counts as being armed with a Lvl 1 of Khorne, Nurgle, Tzeentch and Slaanesh. They lose all bonuses from other Marks of Chaos Undivided Lvl 1-3.
This set of rules is fantastic!
