So I am toying with the idea selling my Sanguine Templar army, they are basically a count as BA army. Money is tight right now and I think I could get quite a bit for them as they are very well painted, but I just dont know if there is a market for other peoples armies, I know for me personally it would depend on the quality of the army and, the items included, what about you, what would it take for you?

Marines are Marines.
If they are painted anything non standard I would be more willing to purchase them, than if they were painted one specific color scheme like Black Templars, Blood Angels etc.

It would really all depend on the paint job and what the counts as was supposed to be.

Yes, assuming by 'Counts as' you mean 'I play Blood Angels with a funny paint job' not 'I have a bunch of toys from a different company that I use as a Blood Angels army.' I'm all about funny paint job Marines, especially if I can buy them on the cheap. If they've already been given paint sealer though, I don't buy them. Too much of a pain to remove.
