Subject: Modelling a Sanguinary Priest with Jump Pack - fluff wise should he have wings

Hi.
I understand that to make a Sang Priest with Jump Pack I'm going to need to but a set of extra Jump Packs but I'm just wondering whether to go the whole hog and buy some wings from the Sang Guard on eBay?
My question is whether the Priest should have wings or whether they shouldn't. What would they look like fluff wise?
Thanks a lot.

Check out your codex - I am pretty sure they have SP's in there without the wings.

Hi.
Sorry, I must be being blind.
Have looked 3 or 4 times and can't see one.
Do you know what page?
Thanks.

Personal preference, could look more plain and not have the wings or more ornate and have the wings.

I googled it (not being a BA player myself) and most Sanguinary Priests I crossed don't have wings, they have the typical jump-pack. Personally, I would magnetize the back of the mini, so that I could swap it out for "Hey, that's cool" vs "Dude, that's wicked awesome!" Ya know? It would also leave space for versatility in your list, if you didn't want him with a JP (why, I wouldn't know, but hey, whatever).
The first thing that pops into my head are these:

and
http://www.thewarstore.com/product48053.html
But they're a bit techno, and if I remember correctly, the actual wings are a bit more "feathery," so:

Yeah, a bit expensive, but I'm an "over-the-top" kinda guy myself... and since you're only doing priests, not all your SG, it wouldn't be too painful... lol
Also, in magnetizing:

or
Ebay
Good luck, hope my 2 cents helped

Why is it that only those who have never fought in a battle are so eager to be in one? |

This is just an opinion, but ...I think the wings, on any BA except Sanguinius, are stupid and a little fruity. I've played BA since day 1 and most of the new fluff is alright by me, but the Sanguinor ehhhh, I never liked Mephiston, and all of the wings, imo, could be forgotten.

I used to put wings on my JP chaplains using the wings off warmaster griffons and eagles, it looked weird because they were just wings. Like a mutant. Now that wings are legit in the codex I find I don't like them.
But to answer your actual question, no SP do not have to have wings on thier JP. I'm not sure on the page number but the honor guard squad below the sanguinary guard squad in the color section.
