Hello everyone.
this time i would share with you this terrible army.
i haven't tested it yet, but i am planned to do.

HQ.
-Xenos Inquisitor
Convertion beam, 3x servoskulls 79

ELITE
- Technomarine

Deployment

First thing to do, put the servoskulls for all over the battlefield , we have 15 in total so you may bother the enemy.. then split the 10 mens purgation squad into two squads of 5.

Second, put a technomarine in each purgation squad and HIDE them in a very covered area.

Then, put a Xenos Inquisitor in two purgation squads. why this? simple... astral aim benefit not purgation squad only, but their joined units too. so we will able to shoot to everyone!, no matter where they hides. hehehe. creepy?

Strike Squads will strike all over. with their razorbacks, that's their job.

Psyfle dread will do what it does. long range support. in fact all army has long range.


Once the game starts, servoskulls will improve your acuraccy with the convertion beams, so, you will not fail.
i think that imperial armies, will fear this. hehe..

if the enemy gets too close... purgators will uncharge their psycannon bullets on them.

Wow, that is one hell of a beam!
You have enough anti-tank for like 2000+ games, why not fill in on some hard hitting infantry and troops?
Ditch the Purgation squads and get Purifiers. Same cost except purifiers get way more stuff. The only good purgation quad I find is a 5 man with 4x 'cinnies' in a rhino

Pretty wicked list. Have the razorbacks a bit in front of your conversion beamers. You can have the beamers in the corner bombing stuff all the way across the board and getting that strength 10. If the enemy wants to negate the strength of the beamer they'll have to venture closer and into lascan territory. Its a scary proposition for anyone.

if i put purifiers. then technomarines will not fit. so it would be a completly different army list. purgators are there to give their astral aim to techmarines and inquisitors. not underestimate purgators, they have 3 halberds, one to the justicar, they could defend against most enemies charge, remember that those halberds are nemesis weapons. (4 attacks on defense, and 7 attacks on charge with Initiative 6).

Why the meltabombs on the Techmarines? With the amount of beams and Las you should not be having to assault vehicles. why not give them pschyo-nades? You can find the extra points by dropping 6 servo skulls.

IMHO you dont really need 15. A 6 ft table is only 72 inches long, meaning you only need 6 servo skulls to cover the whole table end to end.

yeah!. you'r right, this is the basic configuration. i think i would drop some skulls to give one extra halberd to each strike squad. or even a psycannon.

I really liked your list, but i'd remake it into Coteaz list, removing one Ordo Xenos, Strike Squads, and adding henchmans, they are kinda fit this list.

mh, good idea too. but i would not know what to use. Henchman has no power weapons. with the exception of power fists. i prefer the strike squad because of his nemesis weapons and inititative. oh, and thoughnes.

but i could see a razorspam lasplas army with this. More creepy (but not original)

Psykers with jokaero: jokaero can give psykers 5++, so they can live the perils of warp. Techmarines MUST take grenades, so you will survive any charge, even with 5 man purgators. Btw, you can give techmarine a halberd, also. Servitors must go with inquisitor,
so it won't mindlock. Hope it helps you to improve yours

Correct me if i am wrong but Defense Orbs only grant the wearer the 5++ so the psykers cant benefit from it.

that's correct defense orbs gives the 5++ saving to the bearer. but what he is trying to say is the augmentative energy field ability from the jokaero customization that gives 5++ to the whole unit.

interesting army, but it is not a "Hell Beam" army, but just another henchmen with two long range beams.
i like your army, but the idea is to have the most convertion beams as possible and put them into purgators squad, so escenery don't affect them.

anyway... the central piece here are the purgators and tehcmarines with xenos inquisitors. Strike Squads and extra equipment would be changed as you like. personaly i prefer Strike Squad.

Well, my list is not a rly "Hell beam", i just realised, that techmars are too pricey for just one small blast... And you've got nearly nothing behind your beams and psycannons - beams can't kill a lot, just coz you will miss anyway, even with servo skulls, or when your opponent removes servo skulls, and after he comes closer, beams will become less and less effective.

Btw, you can also try Orbital Strike spam, GK can take 5 and make it every turn

hehe, i already try that. i put 5 orbital strike, but for some reason.... I MISS EVERYTHING! ... T_T ... i can't believe my lack of lucky.
anyway, at least this beams, uses the BS of techmarines and Inquisitors. so, with servoskulls all over the place. i don't think i will miss.
