Spoiler:
Okay so I'm fielding a 2000pt detatchment of Necrons in an Order vs. Destruction Apoc game this weekend and have been assigned to provide Armor and Anti-Aircraft support (We have a 2k element of Dark Eldar handling Anti-Armor.) My plan is three Monoliths and 2 Pylons plus either 2 more Strategic Assets or (pending this answer) filling the rest out with units. Even though I'm the organizer, our LGS' schedule for the next few weeks is packed and I can't move this to the release of the new Codex.

If I have no units with the 'Necron' rule in my army list, do I automatically Phase Out at the start of my first turn? I have no WBB rolls to make and won't have, so no models with the 'Necron' rule can be destroyed for me to be reduced to below 25% of ((edit)) "In other words, 75% of its models, rounding fractions up, are destroyed.) ((/edit))

Thanks in advance for your time on this, guys.

((edit))
I rescind the question as I don't want to be blamed for starting THAT again, even if nobody based the arguement on the parenthesis immediately after the part of the rule they were all citing.)

Yes, you would immediately phase out. (25% of 0 is 0)

But, talk to the rest of the players. Phase Out is typically ignored for Apoc games. (Even if you do add units, the other side will just quickly team up and wipe them out, forcing you to phase out and putting your side at a major disadvantage)

Technically yes, you would automatically phase out.

Talk to the other players.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

BTWs, as mentioned in the other thread, a man said he could divide 0/4. my question is, can anyone divide 4/0. I would love to see that calc

Ya, I play Crons, what about it?
Also, they are just shiny space zombies with guns.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.
