Like the Title, I suffer from severe A.D.D. Now what this is doing to me is as follows. I get super hyped up about a new army. I go out of my way to aquire that army. Get all the peices I want and begin building it. Now by the time I get to this point I already find my mind wandering to a different Army. Now, before you think I am just hopping onto the latest Codex or Army. That is not the case. I jump all over in my interests. I have wanted to do an Ork Biker Army, a Space Wolf List, a Blood Angel List, an I.G. list and all sorts of other lists. I do not know if it is a case of just not being satisfied with an Army completely or still looking for that right fit for me.

So what I guess I am looking for is help on how to settle down and focus on one army and ideas of Armies that seem to hold the most attention. Maybe even ideas on how to settle on one Army and stick with it. I have recently aquired an Nice sized and even Competetive Dark Eldar army and for some reason I am already thinking about trying to trade it for yet another army. HELP ME PLEASE!!!

How about expanding your colleciton within the same codex? If you have, say, a Raider Spam, try making a Wych Cult army or a Coven army. You can use most models you already have and you can use most of the same paints!

As Belexar said, try buying units and making more casual lists with models you'd like to use. I for one am trying to get my hands on Scourges and Hellions for a change of pace for my normally Raider-Spammy DE.

Some people play to win, some people play for fun. Me? I play to kill toy soldiers.

I have the same problem, I think the main issue is just that my codex is stale and boring. I'd say stick with an army whose models you like.

Ritalin.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.

Marines are awesome for this.

I can go back and forth between Deathwing, Biker Marines, Blood Angels, and Codex Marines, all painted in the same chapter colors, and have fluff reasons for doing so!

(All codex adherent chapters follow the same organization guidelines... 1st company all terminators/sternguard/vanguard, 2nd-5th companies all battle companies, 6th trained to deploy on bikes, 7th trained to deploy with speeders, 8th all assault marines, 9th all devastators, 10th all scouts)

Hell, you could make an all scout army and fit in just fine with this theme too!

play a really bad army and then you will become obsessed with trying to win with it. Ex: DE with no DLs, IG with no tanks, SW with no fangs/backs, etc

HIDING IN METAL BAWKSES!

You could do well with an IG list that has no tanks. Use Vendettas and Hydras

ADD?.........sure you aren't just hyperactive? When I was in primary school there were three people with 'ADD', now its about half in each class.

But anyway, I collect Imperial. It means that you can get any models from Imperial guard, Space Marines, BA, SW, GK, Sisters. Its the best way to get all the best models.

I have this problem too. My solution: Codex-adherant Marines. It means I have an entire book of options, and I can usually sweet-talk friends into letting me use other Imperial stuff.

How long is the duration between when you get bored with the hyped up army and when you find interest in another army? You might have a life destroying bi-polar disorder.

This thread has been mandatorily grimdarked.
