I am about to undertake a project that i am really looking forward to. I am going to be converting my space hulk kit to an alien colonial marines theme, to celebrate the upcoming release of Alien: colonial marines. Here is the list of things i plan on doing:

Genestealers -Converted to- Aliens

Imperial guardsmen -Converted to- Colonial marines

Create custom rules and markers

adrenaline glands -Converted to- Face huggers

Paint jobs

This is the list of things at the moment i need to do.

I wil be posting pictures and updates as i work on it. Also please post below if you have seen any conversions done of aliens or colonial marines as this would help me alot thanks.

There is a company that does make Alien miniatures, but I can't remember the name. If I find them, I will tell you.

Leading Edge used to make Aliens minis, and Heroclix "Horrorclix" line has/had some as well I think. Chaperhouse makes "Xenomorph" heads for use with Tyranid minis, with some work you could probably use them along with Genestealers to make nice xenomorphs (headswap with Chaperhouse, close up the lower arm sockets, extend the tails, and add the back tube-chimney things).

Hasslefree makes several Aliens themed minis including minis for Ripley, Newt (both normal and "A-firmative" versions) and a Colonial Marine or two.

I got some old Aliens miniatures from 1988 that you assemble like models. They are bigger than 40K but I think I can use some of the bitz. The Alien Warrior head for example looks like it would be great for a Broodlord. If I get around to putting some together I will send you some pics for inspiration.

It's got everything, tanks, APCs, Aircraft, drop pods, anti-tank missiles, the works. Also a chapter on Xenomorph biology. The thing reads like the fluff section of a game manual or dex, with basic info, illustrations, diagrams and photos, and the occasional breakout box with in-universe quotes or commentary. I strongly reccomend it for anyone planning to make an Aliens based game or conversion.

Will be posting pictures of the sentry turret and a few colonial marine conversions. The colonial marines and the sentry are not to exciting conversion wise so i want to get them out of the way and move on to the Aliens as fast as possible so you can actually see some exciting stuff!
