My club gave ITEN a go last week and had alot of fun with it.

There's already an older topic about ITEN here: http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/387640.page
that includes the rules, but I figured it should have a post here in "Skirmish" section as it is a "Skirmish" game.

Anywho, suffice to say it's a very fast-playing warband skirmish (5-10 figs a side, no squads/coherency) set in the 40k universe. It's a good deal more streamlined than Necromunda, but it has just enough stats and chrome that the figures keep their unique charachteristics. As well as being able to stat your own minis, the authors have created Retinue Rosters for nearly every faction and many sub-factions of the 40k universe. It's probably one of the most impressive free wargaming rulesets I've read that doesn't have it's roots in a commercial ruleset. Not for it's complexity (no one would ever call it complex), but for the ease of gameplay and sensible rule choices.

Here's a link to one of our member's initial impressions and some pics of the game.
