Is there some secret to modelling these guys? I've tried several times to get it right, but it never works out. Either the grenade launcher is too far to the left, or the hand is too far to the right. I've tried gluing the GL then trying to posiition the hand, and I've also tried the reverse of that, still doesn't work.

Probably the easiest way to get a hand and weapon to meet up somewhere in the middle is to trim the arm at the joint. Trim the front inside edge a little to move the arm in towards the middle of the model.

Greenstuff.
And reshaping the arm and/or torso.
Not that I actually use many of them (grenade launchers) as I've found the flamers to be more useful.

Yeah I used to use flamers all the time, but with 24 inch range, and enough strength to stop many vehicles, my command squads went from an easy killpoint/annoyance to a priority target, which means less things firing at blobs and heavy weapons.
Also guys, I think I derped hard on this one. I believe for the past few days I've been trying to stuck flamer hands on launchers. I'm not noticing the handles that stick out of the hands are shorter for GL than flamers. Automatically Appended Next Post: Jihadin wrote:Find a similiar size tube and green stuff. I like the idea, but with WYSIWYG it can be an issue.

Heh. Yeah, the flamer and GL stabiliser arms are different as the weapons are different shapes
You don't need to use the stabiliser arm though. I worked up a GL using some of the HWS bits.

They (flamers and GL) BOTH use the same left arm.
They aren't different arms for flamer or GL.

I just checked. The arms look pretty much the same, but they have slightly different angles on the shoulder where they join the torso. This matches up to the slight differences in where the handle attaches into the GL and Flamer. Means you don't end up with a gap.
