on the forum. Obviously

Yes we know. In fact, there is an entire thread dedicated to that fact in the news and rumors section.

Imo, they are pretty awesome.

They look awesome to me but I can't help thinking that they might be a bit too 'shooty' and not CC enough from what I've read so far. Codex release will hopefully put my negativity towards them to rest as I love the old metal dudes and will be definitely be getting myself an army of them.

Were necrons ever CC enough?

They do not need to be CC enough.....Necrons have the tech to decimate CC units attempting to charge them, and they are not slouches when in CC either.....they just continue to get back up and up and up and up and the game is over

I do not discriminate....all races are equally worthless....

At least they have some CC units.

Wraiths and Flayed Ones are now ok in combat(ok, wraiths were ok before)

the Lytchguard also appear to be capable in CC.

the real question is weather they are worth it compared to the shooty options.

Flayed Ones good? None of the rumors seem to indicate that in the least. Wraiths however seem to be good in CC (especially thanks to Whip Coils) as well as Lychguard, just the question whether to take Warscythes or Hyperphase Sword and Void Shield.

Gods? There are no gods. Merely existences, obstacles to overcome.

I like the new deathmarks there looking awesome but im not really liking there dedicated transport. although the preatorians look so cool it doesnt really suit them. I mean necrons in close combat? Anyway all the other units brilliant.

You will notice I said "Ok" not good.

They are OK compared to units that arn't close combat unit, like fire warriors, Dire Avengers, Warriors, Tac marines(ignoring sergeant upgrades)
