I've seen the "One Shot" weapons rules reference in my Dark Eldar codex several times, but have not found it in the 40k rulebook. Help? Thanks.

There is a limit. Have a look at the text in italics at the top of the armoury page...

Edit: Or, you could just completely change the question...

Weapons with one shot are fired once during the game. Afterwards the weapon can no longer fire.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

It depends, on the weapon type, strength of the weapon, and how far you moved.

I don't think the RB has anything about one shot weapons.

The ShatterShard in my signature is a 'one shot' weapon (like several others), that is, DE get to use it once and only once per game.

There is not anything complicated or tricky to it.

One use only.

Technically, after shooting a one shot weapon, it counts as weapon destroyed for that weapon.

No it doesn't.
Weapon Destroyed can be repaired.
A one shot weapon has one shot. This doesn't even deserve a thread.

Actually per the FAQ it is effectively destroyed as far as damage results are concerned.

So it CAN be "reloaded" by a techmarine? that means you could park a storm raven next to a pimped out techmarine and have it fire all 4 missiles each turn.

Yeah, I have the same question. How many can you fire at once? Say I have a Marauder Destroyer with 8 hellstrike missiles. Can I fire all 8 in a single turn if I want to?

Kill the mutant, burn the heretic, purge the unclean!!!!

There are just three simple rules to follow: If I charge, follow me. If I retreat, kill me. If I die, avenge me.

"A Templar Knight is truly a fearless knight and secure on every side, for his soul is protected by the armor of faith, just as his body is protected by armor of steel. He is thus doubly armed and need fear neither daemons nor men."

@Joey no. Once fired it can not be fired again, however when rolling for vehicle damage (crew stunned, crew shaken, etc) it "counts as" destroyed. So if you have a HK missile, and a lascannon, and you suffer a weapon destroyed result after the HK missile is fired, you lose the lascannon. If you suffer another weapon destroyed result, you get bumped up to immobilized.

@Fallanir like I said, it depends on the weapons stats and how far the model moves. AFAIK only vehicles have 1 shot weapons (not including Orbital Bombardments) so you would need to look at the rules for vehicles shooting.

As above - each weapon is a separate weapon, so you need to know if a vehicle can fire more than one weapon of that type. For example a standard valkyrie can only fire 1 hellstrike a turn, as they are Ordnance, but a BA SR can fire ALL 4 missiles at once if it moves up to 6"

Marauders are SH flyers, so can always fire all weapons

I see, thanks. I was thiking that. So a Marauder Destroyer could fire all 8 hellstrike misslies in one turn if it wanted to.

I'd also like to know if, being a Super Heavy flyer, it could fire all 8 misslies at different targets?

If Imperial Armour Apocalypse Second Edition doesn't present new or updated rules for Super Heavies then yes it can fire all 8 and it can fire them at different targets IIRC

It hasnt updated the rules for flyers, so like all SH vehicles it can fire at separate targets.
