Example, If I have 3 Trolls in the same unit, each troll with 3 wounds each, if the unit is attacked in close combat, does the attacker need to specify which troll he is attacking or does he attack the whole unit and I decide which model gets the wound?

How would you work this same scenario out for shooting?

I'm curious to know whether or not 1 troll is removed on he first 3 wounds the unit gets or if I could decide the unit as a whole has 3 wounds ( 1 wound each troll) and leave all 3 in till the 7th wound occurs for the whole unit.

Any thoughts?

The brb says you must take full models off when possible as in 1 troll at a time will take wounds.

So 3 wounds means 1 dead troll.

Same goes for shooting unless there are characters in there then it just hits the unit as far as i know unless its a template.

They all have the same statline, and are not characters, so you do not need to specify what you are attacking.
