So as the title implies, I am trying to make a storm guardians kitbash out of a box of wytch and kabalite warrior bits, and a couple guardian kits. I figure I can butcher a few weapons from the bits to make fusion blasters and the knifes and pistols will make passable cc weapons and pistols that storm guardians wield. Also I think the warlike faces I have left over from the deldar kits will make great flavor for my storm guardians.

So what do you guys think?

You can get a bazilliion knives from most space marine and CSM players. As for the pistols I can't help.

I am planning on using the extra knives and splinter pistols from my kabalite warrior and wytch kits and putting them on craftworld eldar guardians to make storm guardians.

Was hoping to get some feedback from the dakka community on the idea.

The aesthetics will be a little too brutal and non-uniform, but way better than sticking Marine knives on Guardian arms. I think it's pretty cool.

Im glad you like the idea, I plan on filing down the spikes on the arms and weapons, but I think the storm guardians models from GW look different then standard gaurdians anyways so I am fine with the difference. I will post some pictures in the Painting and modeling blog when I get some done up if your interested

For my SG I used a combination of regular guardian bits, tyranid claws and chaos spikes.

First to make the pistol just cut the shuriken catapult in 2 sections at the barrel and the pipe thingy. Reglue the catapult and it'll look exactly like a pistol but with a slightly longer barrel. For the sword I used a nid claw as the blade and the spikes off the iron halo-ish bit from the chaos rhino box.

Made me 3 guys doing this to replace lost SG bits and they are definitly the squad centre piece!
