Very nice painting, and the rust effects are very well done. The only thing I found a little strange was it's only the armour that's rusted, but the weapons are pristine - the 2nd one especially. It could just be me nitpicking, as otherwise they're spot on. But as others said, gets the bases to the same standard for them to really pop...

Too much rust. You need a contrast, not everything will be rusty, where would water pool? For example the armour plates were probably found on a scrap yard so rust them up good, the Helmets are beaten into that shape, they're not going to use rusted metal for that. The weapons shouldn't be rusty but If your going for a Rust theme you should have the Panelling rusty. Their bits of Scrap bolted on after all.

Some more highlighting on the Arms, very flat at the moment well the first one at least, the Axe on the second one has a wire that's been painting metallic. I would correct that.

Basing, I would suggest some trophies, so skulls bodies anything akin to that. Depends on what your going for. I personally would suggest muddy conditions.

Drill those barrels and do something with the bases and you'll be all set. Those paint jobs are ace; you have an awesome rust effect.

Very nice rust effects, as has been pointed out tone it down a notch.
I would also suggest that you look into some of the other colours that you sorta negleted in favour of rust.

Great looking rust! I think this look fits orks better than most of the bright colored themes out there.

Looking really, really nice! I don't have the balls to attempt Orks or anything Orky ala rust!

My only criticism would be to add in a little more contrast to the models. They seem very... rusty and not much else. First picture, for example, the ammo for his shoota could do with contrast rather than all silver.

Oh, and the bases! A nice Calthan brown base, topped with sand, then repainted again with Calthan, drybrushed with bone mix would make these look fething epic!

Nice rust!

How many Space Marines does it take to screw in a lightbulb.

6, 1 techpriest and 5 tacticals that stand around trying to pose like badasses.

An Ork, Space Marine and Eldar are walking down the road. They see a Chaos portal that has a sign on it. It says: 'say what is true or be sucked in'. The Space Marine says: "I think I'm the bravest" and walks past safely, the Eldar says: "I think I'm the most agile" and walks past safely. The Ork says: "Me thinks..." and gets sucked into the portal.

This can be used over any colour(mine was red), I went a bit over board on mine.
First I started with stippling Gw Red Gore ( I prefer to use Vallejo Model Colour Calvary brown, its less shiny and covers better ),
Then I Gave the Rusted area a wash of Thraka Green (Badab Black would work)
And finally I lightly stippled on Gw Blazing Orange. If it was on a larger armor plate I would drybrush some Gw Boltgun metal.

I find it simple and efective, no powders needed Hope this Helps!
