How many times in your Warhammer/40k career have you personally made an opponent cry?

I played against an opponent that was a particularly sore loser, and even then, he didn't cry when I blew him off the board by turn 4. He kinda stormed off, but no tears.

Can't really imagine someone crying over 40k...

Considering I only play 40K with friends and people that I know, and we do that whole "play for fun, not for validation" thing. Never.

I dunno, I've made my friends cry plenty of times!

Of course, it's usually because they're laughing so hard at how my badly dice tend to roll.

First time was one of those "you could roll no wrong" days. Used up my luck for the next year on one new opponent.
What REALLY made him angry was when I kept apologizing while my normal marines were acting like cyborg ninjas with light sabers and tactical nuke hand weapons. Tyranids had never looked more like ants on that day. Templates were bordering on diabolical for deviation. Anyway, yeah, that was it. Will never see a game like that again.

I play so bad it makes Veteran Players cry, but never an opponent.

Seems so. Though that is entirely up to your mind's perception, this could simply not exist outside of your mind.

My vote goes to never, I have never even seen someone cry about a loss.

But have you ever managed to shoot your Dark Eldar Paper Airplane down with it's own missile?

If you're crying over a game then you have significantly bigger problems than bad dice rolls.

In wargaming? Never. I've seen people get pretty heated after some bad rolls or a rules debate, but I've never seen anyone cry.

I have seen two people cry in D&D, however (both times during High School). One was a friend of mine, a pretty sensitive guy who got very invested in the game and his character's story arc. His stubborn character died a noble but ultimately avoidable and meaningless death. He kinda meandered off, fired up Guitar Hero II, and played Freebird three or four times in a row. He was pretty choked up.

The second time happened a year or two later. A player in my group was really trying my patience (not having a driver's license and treating other players like chauffeurs, taking other people's food, constantly tossing insults and personal attacks, lighting cigarettes in non-smoker's houses/cars and then complaining profusely when he was made to put them out, claiming to have Asperger's and using it as an excuse for his actions, opening a can of beer in the back seat of my car when I was driving, etc). During one game, I got bored, so I chewed the plastic off a paperclip, then wedged the straightened metal part into his mechanical pencil when he was busy elsewhere. When he went to write with it, it tore a gash in his revered record sheet. When everyone figured out what happened, they all started laughing. He flipped out, ripped up his record sheet and locked himself in the bathroom to cry. Good times.

Making people cry is a violation of rule #1.

But seriously, this thread is a bit Banal, locking.
