I had a captain from the black reach box set laying around. I threw together a few bits (head, 2 arms) and voila something new to paint.

Very very nice! People need to take some time to make their black reach stuff a bit more varied. Gets a bit tiring seeing the same captain/warboss 50 times

That's probably the most distinctive conversion/paintjob I've ever seen on an AoBR captain. The painting is also really top notch; the power weapon is great.

Okay, first of all, awesome conversion.
Secondly, I see those little wing bits on his shoulderpads with the teardrop gems in a lot of conversion and have no idea what kit comes with that bit. Where does it come from?

The miniature could have been a lump of sprue and it would have looked good with that painting.

Conversion I thought would look busy but no, no, I was wrong, darn good use of color.
