The Sanguinor is always written as helping the Blood Angels. He is their special character, how ever nothing is ever mentioned about him helping anyone else. Seeing as Astorath tours BA successor chapters (and is their High Chaplin, not a ghost), not would it be fair to assume that The Sanguinor dose the same?

I think it's pretty reasonable... they're heirs of sanguinius just like BA

I don't see why he wouldn't. I think Astorath helps out successors aswell

(I take it as a major insult) He is Azkelion, founder of the sanguinary gaurd or another awesome blood angel but he is certainly not a myth and DEFINATELY NOT CHAOS FILTH!!!!!!!!!

I think the simplest theory is that he doesn't actually exist. He's like a UFO or the Loch Ness Monster. Blood Angels are kinda crazy already, so having the occasional hallucination isn't out of the realm of possibility.

So the blood angels start hallucinating while all the enemy start having heart attacks!

Could be a psychic apparition they unconsciously summon.

Maybe. Larkin saw an angel in the Gaunt's ghosts books. It was real and an apparition, like the Sanguinor, but not necessarily a daemon.

Eh? I must've read that bit wrong because I thought that Gaunt was the Angel.

The Sanguinor is most likely the founder of the sang guard and a daemon. He is just like Draigo, but with nipples so intense they bend ceramite

Not all daemons are evil or malicious, although certainly all of them that can think for themselves are devious.

To be fair all sang gaurd have ceramite bending nipples but didn't draigo become a deamon for pissing off mortarion. Sanguinor could have been similar when he 'killed' bloodthirster Ka'bandha on khartas

He could also be a fragment/reincarnation of Sanguinius.

Also, Astorath and the Sanguinor function in completely different ways. Astorath is the Highest Chaplain of the BA whereas the Sanguinor is the Blood Angels' version of the Angels of Mons (kind of like the Legion of the Damned).

I think he may help other BA chapters. Athough I wouldn't ask or take help from an golden Twilight vampire who wears nipple armour and may be an follower of chaos.

That Draigo is a daemon is nothing more than pure speculation, it's worth remembering.

The Sanguinor could be anything. It's unlikely he's a Heresy-era Marine still around and kicking.

But he does help out BA successors. I believe his codex entry even mentions that, though I'm not positive.

Aha! Now i got him! But one thing comes up in mind. Does the Sanguinor help BA chapters that have been declared traitors (like Knights of Blood)?

Who knows. There's nothing to say he does so, but there's also nothing to say he does not do so. There is no known precedent on the matter, and it could swing either way really (unless they're outright fallen to Chaos and not just renegades).

He helps them out, just like Astorath
On who he is, he is just Azkaellon, who misteriously disappeared after making BA follow the Codex Astartes..
