Yeah, that's pure speed freeks Boris.
It's a pretty good list. At 1k, I prefer to have a battlewagon or two(if possible).
Trukk mobs are good for MEQ, but 12 boyz can have issues with CSM(2 x ccw) and SW(2 x ccw and counterattack) for example....which is why 20 is nice.

I love stormboyz but I'll point out that at the price, you're 17 points shy of running my normal battlewagon unit of boyz.
You might also consider trading the grots and 3 stormboyz for 5 lootas for some ranged light armor destruction.

I am more interested how people can run battlewagons at 1000 pts. You'll want at least 2, and if 2 you'll want lots of protection, all this means the points need to be high.
The stormboyz fit well with the list, just keep them back until the trukk boyz get in range.
I would consider dropping the grots and a couple of stormboyz for a kopta. This will give a one chance hit at taking out a tank which in this points range is a big deal. Holding the back objective cheaply is good but I would be happier with points spent on killing.

MFletch: Its actually pretty simple really. Here is a list at 1k with 2 BWs. I kinda got the idea from brother on another post. His is even better then mine but still both viable.
Mek: KFF
Meganobs x4: 2x K-Skorchas
-Battlewagon: Plates, Rolla, BShoota
Shootas x20:BShoota
-Nob: PK, BSoota, BP
Sluggas x12
-Nob: PK, BP
Trukk: Ram
Sluggas x12
-Nob: PK, BP
Trukk: Ram
Battlewagon: Plates, Rolla, BShoota
Again Brothers is better but I like the shooty box of doom. ie Shootas in Battlewagons.

That is a completely different sort of list so I am not sure it will suit the OP's style. It is not to my taste.
Thanks for posting a response. I like more surrounding my battlewagons, all antiinfantry guns will be targeting your trukks and all antitank the battlewagon. I guess it is safe at 1000pts.

honestly your stormys dont fit in
considering they can be the fastest unit in the game they are ussually more of a first contact thing. However in your list your boyz arent lagging behind to far anyways. Besides you plan on using the trukks as cover which is odd.
The reality is though stormies follow a speed freek concept they are better suited for slower lists as a stand out fast unit.
once they hit there just boyz so you might as well have boyz in a trukk

Stormboys should never be first contact. At 12 points a model and having the same stats as a normal boy, its kinda a bad idea.
The best use for a stormboy is as support. Since they can jump around the table they can support whichever group is going to/is having difficulty with Close Combat. They are also good at getting objectives and such.
Which is the role that I am assuming Boris is trying to go for. (And if not, they are still a freaken awesome model)

How can an FA get an objective?
I can see your point about stormies however. They are a CC based boy. Everythin else in the army is either a boy or a nob. If boys cant handle it why send more expensive boys.
I tend to use stormies to chase down units boys won't or to tie up units that will harm boys until they get there

Stormies are support, not frontline assault units like BA's. They will die to anything without cover so MUST be defensive, hence the trukks. They are there because sometimes 1 or even 2 trukk mobs can't handle certain threats so the stormies strike only to bolster assaults or afterwards act as a Pk delivery system aka the "Ork Lascannon" because they'll be too low in number for much else but this is how I get them to last/squeeze use out of them.

Hmm. I tend to use natural cover and launch assaults on units that cost me while I wait for my forces to get there.
If I want a unit of some boys to come along with my regular boys I bring some boys in a trukk its cheaper if I need just numbers. Storm boyz offer the fastest non deffkopta assault in the dex.
Be it noted I don't take storm boyz often anyways as if I go for speed I prefer bikes
