One single dog is not much of a swarm.

Here some ideas close to the original design:

Every spider/scarab swarm might fit, e.g. Tomb Kings or D&D spider/scarab swarms.

Zealot miniatures has some small "scarabs" http://www.zealotminiatures.co.uk/zealot-store

Wyrd has some arachnids: http://www.shop.battlefield-berlin.de/index.php/katalog/artikelinfo/19416-1-show-steampunk_arachnid_swarm_3.html

Heresy Miniatures has these http://www.shop.battlefield-berlin.de/index.php/katalog/artikelinfo/20888-1-show-d-06_robot_drone_basic_unit.html

They are from AT-43 Therian army and can be had for dirt cheap on ebay: six models for buy it now prices as low as $8

Same problem: One beast on a 25mm base is as much a swarm as a SM captain with multiple attacks.
BTW I use these as my mechanical themed wracks
