Subject: Treason of Tzeentch and Always Strikes First

Was watching a game yesterday where WoC was facing some HE, if Treason of Tzeentch was case on a unit of sword masters, since they are attacking themselves which is like attacking a target with the same initiative would they reroll misses for always strike first?

Actual reply: Since SMs are ASF, and they are, for all intents and purposes, attacking a unit with ASF itself, following the rules for ASF vs ASF they would not gain any bonuses, and thusly would not get the re-roll.

Ya no rerolls to hit against themselves also characters are not affected so there I'd never a reroll unless a peice of the battle field causes it.
