Hey guys Im calling on you guys again for some help, our local Gw is running a small escalation league and the first round is this week. Im looking to make a 500 pt list but I have no idea what to take and its really tough since I dont have much elbow room for points I need to figure out a list soon so I could get whatever I need painted if Im going to use it since whatever we use in the league has to be painted. so..yea please help me.

here is what I have at my disposal.

HQ's:
Weirdboy
Big Mek
Mega armoured warboss
Normal warboss

Elites:

8 Burna boyz
12 Lootas
3 Mega armoured Nobs
7 Nobs including a painboy model

Troops:
30 slugga boyz w/ nob
20 shoota boyz w/ nob
1 Trukk/ Looted wagon (could be used as either)

Fast attack:
3 Deffkoptas

Heavy Support:
1 Deffdread
6 Killa kans
1 battlewagon
1 trukk/ Looted Wagon

Im hoping to make it competitive, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Well to start with its normally an HQ and 2 troops? What do you need for the first 500?

Normal Force organization chart so anything goes

shoota boyz for sure. lootas for sure.

then for your hq id go with either the big mek if he has a kff or the normal warboss if he has a powerclaw.

fill in with some deffkoptas for now, thats competative.

Well here is what I run at 500 pts. Very tough to deal with but not very friendly.

Mek: KFF

Shootas x20: BShoota
-Nob: PK, BShoota, BP
Dread: Plates, 2x BShootas

Kans x3: Rokkits

Its a mini kan wall list. Next level I would add some lootas. Then maybe more boys and kans. That is of course if you want to do a Kan wall list.

If you want Speed Freek boys with trukks a mek with KFF. The Mek is so useful. Maybe some Koptas or Rokkit buggies.

A green tide would be 2 squads of 30 boys with a Mek with a KFF. Maybe covered with some big guns batteries to provide some AT at range.

BW rush is not an option at this level but can be done at 1k if you want to.

^^^^^THIS!!!! thanks man, this is what I wanted to do with the mini kan list. thankyou so much to you, and everybody else who helped out now just one question, wouldnt flamers be better on the deff dread instead?

Now thats totally up to you, but for me I do a totally shooty army so the BShootas are better. But luckily they are the same points, huh?

I think it would wrok either way for sure. Just be ready to here, CHEESE!

lol the people I play with are a bunch of trolls and arseholes haha My friends are bringing wraithlords and kharn and stuff, so I doubt it would matter haha.
