This bag is a GREAT VALUE for anyone, especially if you play orks like me, I got roughly $25 worth of chaos terminators and that was only 1/5 of the $25 bag!
Here is the video showing everything I got.

I didn't watch the video, but I did get a miniature version of that in my swag bag at a recent tournament (the war store was a sponsor). It was really awesome and I got some great stuff. Among others, I got a psycannon, 2 space marine power swords, a killa kan skorcha arm, a big book for a dreadnought, some space marine legs (never enough of those), and some dark angels heads with hoods. Overall some awesome stuff in there, and if the mega bag is anything like what I got, I'm sure its a great buy.

Well, I did watch the video to see what kinds of things you got in there-I have to say, that was a lucky bag if you're a chaos player-you got pretty much a full chaos termie lord, minus the lighting claws, PLUS 3 terminator combi-meltas in there. Fantastic buy. But, it was very hard to see some of the stuff, as you mentioned it but pulled it past the camera so fast that viewing it was impossible. Also, next time, before you write a review, look online at the GW site to try to identify everything accurately-the guys you suspect as marauders are in fact marauder horsemen, and the horse guys you mention at the beginning look like LOTR guys (could be wrong), but try to give as accurate a telling as possible. "Terminator bitz" doesn't help much, but "power weapon and 3 combi-meltas" will make people sit up and take notice. Just thought I'd throw my two cents out there. And if you have no interest in the combi-meltas, I'd love to purchase them off of you.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Camera work is mediocre yet serviceable (the ones i make at home with my household camera are about the same, even with my training), but your hand was steady, and your shots were framed somewhat well.

Overall a good video. Thumbs up on some good audio!

I’ve not ordered any of the big grab bags myself, but a friend of mine has ordered several and has had mixed results (if you’ll excuse the pun). The first ones he ordered were great, with a little bit of everything. His most recent ones, which were about a year back now, were quite strange.

He ordered three, and all three of them were the same. They had, in abundance:

1. Marauder Horsemen (+ riders +weapons).
2. Empire Horses (no riders).
3. Chaos Possessed Marines (just the legs!).

The majority of all three grab bags were these three kits. It was really strange. Now I’ve got a stack of Marauder Horse men and I’m not sure what to do with them. I did get like 12 pairs of Chaos Terminator legs out of it, so that was pretty sweet.

That's not too strange. Their bitz bags would be anything they have in abundance. And usually made in 'batches'. So if he ordered those close together, they just happened to have bags from the batch where they cleaned out their marauder horsemen, empire horses and possessed marines.

Thanks for your input guys! Next time i'll use a tripod and do some research beforehand.

I remember the original bitz bags when the GW metal bins crash happened... the reason why they were great was:

*Usually complete metal models
*bags were scooped up off the floor and put into bags which meant you usually got a bag full of 'similar' stuff.

I remember getting a bunch of fantasy orc and gobbo stuff because I eyeballed a few bags with greenskins. I got dozens of black orks, and hundreds, literally hundreds of squigs, squig hoppers and savage orcs. All because it was generally what the pile of floortrash these bags where made of.

As for modern bitz bags, being plastic bitz I am always skeptical because the bags are not themed and always makes me think it is just the unpopular plastic bitz which didn't sell. (not saying this is true, but my impression)

I would feel much better about bitz bags if they were themed by army and people got a chance to 'eyeball' them like at an auction or something. I realize the whole point of the bitz is to randomly get rid of bitz but I would think it wouldn't be too hard to scoop all the ork stuff into one bag and all the marine stuff into another.
