I know they're in the banner, but I just got my steam knights in... to be combined with forgeworld parts to make relic bladed honour guard... very well done, I am excited to get these guys painted. Rocket fast service, excellent molds. I have no affiliation with the company, just so pleased with the product, can't say enough about them.

Anybody else found great third party models for 40k? (besides scibor, which are great, but pricey with less UM stuff IMO )

Khurasan Miniatures? I can't remember where I heard about them, but the Mekanoid Battlemech and Gunship look like pretty cool models for use in a Tau army.

I'm also trying to find a good "Tau Titan" model. Would use the Eldar Titans... saw some nice 1/100 Gundam models on ebay, but still not what I'm looking for.

Even though I'm a huge fan of Gundam models, I must say that they really don't fit the entire "feel" of 40k. Sorry.

Some of the supporting cast 'mechs in the Gundam series, if painted and detailed, may work. But I agree, not quite the same.

All the Gundams need is a different head, and a shoulder mounted weapon or two, and it fits right in with 40k for a Tau Titan.

please no more Tau-Gundam titan thingies...battle suits are cool and practical and such, but no super size tau suits, build a big Grav tank or invest in some flyers, hell mock up your own.

Gundam and Tau the two should never meet!

Sorry I love my Tau and dont really like any gundam silliness, guess I am too old (shakes cane at whipper snappers )

Those Khurasan minis are a trifle small for 40k.*

They are 15mm scale pieces. That 4 legged walker is a superheavy, for example.

*Unless you are playing 40kays in 15mm - in which case, there are so many better 15mm SF rules out there, why aren't you using them instead?

Indeed, they'd love some more Valkyries from Macross instead.

Though the Imperium would like the actual Macross probably.
