He looks like he just injected crack into his eye-balls, is currently rocking a face melter and is in the middle of the combat. What an over the top figure! I love it! I love the cape, and the sword as well. Very classy.

He looks like Mel Gibson IMHO

The painting is very well executed, but the cape seems to be a bit dirty, dont you think? it looks like it's hastily made.
Try highlighting it, and reducing the wash effect to recesses only.

Yeah... It looks a bit dirty. Should have left out the last wash with devlan mud. Made an experience... Maybe I touch it up another time, but since my whole army is gritty and dirty it's not that much of a problem for me.

OH GOD. That's truely epic. So much darker and enraged than the GW model, it looks both heroic and depraved. It's just brilliant!

Thank you... That was exactly the look I was aiming for.
The once noble calistarius crushed by the Black Rage and resurrected as Mephiston. A dark knight. A mystery to even his closest brethren. A fighting machine with a corrupted soul smashing the foe of the Emperor.

Not just a dude who can't even point a weapon at his enemy aka the original model.


It's a shame that they never released a new model.

Nice work. Hes got some vicious hair metal locks there, looks like he jacked Spawn's cape too . Digging the sword a lot however.

As mentioned, a bit much on the wash. There's a common misconception that washes are some sort of paint magic, but they must be applied with discretion, as well as using the right wash. Can't tell what you used, but you want to approximate you wash color (Baal red for yours, unless my brain is amiss today and you've used it on it )

I'm diagnosing this guy based on looks alone, which may be unethical and unprofessional, but dude is definitely a risk of harm to self or others.

In the last picture he looks more like Tim Minchin. Except very angry. Nice conversion even If I don't like the hairstyle.
