Does anyone know when the FAQ for necrons will be?

We don't even know what questions are going to be asked frequently, much less when the official FAQ document will be released...

Can the codex get a full week out before it needs to be fixed? Wow...earliest will probably be a month.

It'll be a while before (and if) there are any answers from GW. It is the same every time a codex comes out.

Yeah, for Fantesy Ogre Kingdoms got their new book over 2 months ago and we are still waiting.

2 Months is the bare minimum for an FAQ, 3-4 is more realistic.

Yes, I woulden't expect a FAQ for at least 4 months.

Really, the only issue that is affecting me making lists, is the Royal court question. Can you attach two court members, from different courts to the same squad?

RAW written, supports yes for now. RAI, and a FAQ could change this however. I don't want to start finding comfortable lists, only to get that taken away from me.

If GW supports necrons like a Marine army, expect it January. If they treat it like a side-show Xenos army, expect it next May.

I don't believe so. It is hard to track. Although there is a release history for codex, there isn't a lot of data on FAQ releases.

Don't remember, though they were also a bit different in that that was essentially a new release with the entire old product line tossed and revamped. Tyranids took 7 months IIRC however. Guard took 4 months I think, BA's and SM's IIRC took 2-3 months, don't remember GK's or SW's.

I would say that Necrons are very similar to DE in the respect of a total revamp. Someone quoted Phil Kelly, that all releases are going to follow like Dark Eldar did. I'm hoping that means we get our Second wave, and FAQ soon.

Probably not until 6th edition hits in the summer.

I would guess the faq will be out shortly after 6th ed hits the shelves...

I just checked the GW website, and this seems to be true - but I'm perplexed as to why it isn't in English. Do they release FAQs gradually by country?

I'm glad to have some kind of proof for the Death Ray working the way that's not so broken, though, that's all I'm saying.

It isn't in English because it's an FAQ only addressing translation issues in the Spanish Codex, NOT rules issues.
