I'm trying to paint one of the above. I'm aiming for historical accuracy, but my poor German and unfamiliarity with military uniform terminology is making the Internet an unhelpful source of information.

What I'm seeking is a uniform that has the classic blue coat, preferably with red trims, and references to appropriate insignia, Pickelhaube crest, etc.

I did find this site, but didn't find it very accessible as a layman in both the German language and uniform terminology. I want to make sure I get details like insignia, helmet crest and regiment historically accurate.

What ya want to know?

The three figures above are from three Dragoon regiments. You will notice the Baden Dragoon has yellow trim.

I have some other sources but theyare in books... Let me know what you need and I will scan a pic or two.

That would be very helpful, thank you!

The figure on the left with the red trims is basically what I'm after, but the illustration doesn't show detail of helmet crest, regimental & rank insignia, etc. (It would be great if you could show me the appropriate crests & insignia for a couple of ranks so that after this regular trooper I could expand to a unit).

I'm guessing Hawk Turquoise would be a good match for the jacket?

It would be especially helpful if I could have the English and German terms to say 'This is a mini of a Dragoon [rank] of [regiment].
