Indeed. The only weaponry in this army above S3 are a pair of dark lances on the Raiders. That isn't sufficient in a 500 game, much less 1000.

Also, I think those wyches are mispriced. That loadout should come to 208 points, not 200.

I beg to differ. Using your own codex as an example (and giving a better list while I'm at it...), let me present the following mechanized army. It fields six vehicles, all with a 5+ invuln save. With BS4 and invuln saves considered, a lance has less than 30% chance to penetrate an AV10 Venom. Against the AV11 ravager, that drops to 22%. You get only two of these shots per turn, and I will be directing twelve lance weapons toward those vehicles at my first opportunity. And since I'm fielding the Baron, I have a better than 67% chance to win the initiative.

When I first started playing DE and I saw all of the "MORE LANCES" posts, I thought it was silly. But then when you actually play with them, and realize that your poison weapons and str 3 melee are literally useless against even armor 10, you quickly learn that "MORE LANCES" is great advice.

So, with that, MORE LANCES.

I'm sorry to shoot you down, but I think your big blob of warriors is misplaced. Either get 2 squads of 10 (same points, and you got room for it), or equip them with weapons. Or better yet: Equip them.

For 174 pts you get 2 squads of 8 warriors, with a blaster each. These guys can split up and take 2 points, they can split their shooting and finish 2 different squads up, or they could pop 2 heavy tanks open. Or you could just blob all 16 into 1 CC, or use all their firing on a single target, like you have to with the bigger squads.

I'm assuming you want to keep these guys for the WW?

Yep, you guys are all right, I was screaming at my friend when he told me 2 DL were enough, so I went along with it and he laughed himself when I told him the list got pummelled.
